FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading tourism company in Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Travel Consultant to be based at a 5-star hotel travel desk. The role involves engaging with walk-in FIT (Free Independent Traveler) guests, introducing them to a range of tour activities and services, and securing bookings. This is a target-driven, full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, and a strong commitment to customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in travel, tourism, or hotel concierge roles (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai and Abu Dhabi attractions and activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Sales-oriented with the ability to work towards targets
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Russian, French, German, or Arabic is an advantage
  • Well-groomed and presentable appearance

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist hotel guests at the travel desk, providing professional and friendly service
  • Assess guest needs and recommend suitable tour packages and experiences
  • Present and explain options such as Desert Safari, City Tours, Theme Parks, Yacht Charters, Helicopter Tours, and other activities
  • Handle bookings, confirmations, and payment processing
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, bookings, and follow-up actions
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly sales targets
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Build positive relationships with hotel staff and uphold a strong brand presence
