JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales-focused Travel Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a knack for building rapport with clients, and a proven ability to drive sales in a fast-paced environment. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing personalized travel services, creating unforgettable experiences for our clients, and maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales-driven role, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients, build trust, and establish long-term relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for travel and a genuine desire to create unforgettable experiences for clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Poly-holder/Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management are welcome to apply.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.
  • Advanced Amadeus/Galileo knowledge and experience are desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of holiday package curation processes and industry best practices.
  • Strong command of English (mandatory), Mandarin (preferred), and additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and think creatively.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
  • If you are a foreigner in Singapore, you must hold a valid Work Pass.

Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their travel preferences, needs, and budget constraints. Communicate with clients via phone, email, and online meetings to provide personalized travel recommendations and address any inquiries or concerns. Maintain regular contact with clients to keep them informed of travel deals, promotions, and updates.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Utilize exceptional sales skills to promote and sell a wide range of travel products and services, including flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and travel insurance. Meet and exceed sales targets by actively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals for clients while maximizing profitability for the agency.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise: Stay up to date on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry developments. Continuously expand knowledge of various travel products, including accommodations, transportation options, and tour packages. Tailor travel recommendations to match the unique preferences and interests of each client.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire travel booking process, from initial inquiry to post-trip follow-up. Handle any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed client expectations and ensure complete satisfaction. Anticipate potential problems or challenges and proactively offer solutions to mitigate risks and enhance the overall customer experience.
