JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Travel Consultant at Maritime Travel, you will be the face of our organization, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, providing expert travel advice, and helping our clients create unforgettable travel experiences. Your role will involve:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service.
- Strong sales and customer service skills with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and industry trends.
- Knowledge of Apollo or Sabre booking systems is an asset. We provide practical, hands-on training to complement your travel experience.
- A positive attitude, a keen interest in travel, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ travel needs and preferences, offering expert advice, and assisting them in planning and booking their trips.
- Sales: Use your sales skills to promote and sell travel packages, accommodations, flights, and other travel-related services, exceeding sales targets and contributing to the success of the branch.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Booking: Utilize travel agency booking systems (Apollo or Sabre) to make reservations, create itineraries, and handle all aspects of the booking process.
- Problem-Solving: Assist clients in resolving travel-related issues, such as changes in plans, cancellations, or unforeseen complications, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate travel documents, including tickets, visas, and travel insurance.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge to provide the best travel solutions to clients.
