To learn more about Flight Centre please click HERE [https://www.flightcentre.ca/about-us] ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a Travel Consultant, you will work full time, on site in our Worcester retail store, on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade. This is a target-driven sales role where success is measured through KPIs, revenue, conversion, and customer satisfaction. You will take ownership of the customer journey from first enquiry through to booking and follow-up, selling complete travel solutions - not just flights. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING • Convert customer enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations • Work toward individual KPIs and sales targets, earning commission on every sale • Sell end-to-end travel solutions including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers, and travel insurance • Build a loyal base of new and repeat customers — from simple domestic trips to complex international holidays • Manage multiple customers and communication channels at once (in-store, phone, email) in a fast-paced retail environment • Use booking systems and supplier tools to quote, upsell, book, and follow up accurately and efficiently WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE • You enjoy working toward targets and are motivated by results and commission • You are confident asking for the booking and closing the sale • You balance great customer experience with delivering results • You stay organized, resilient, and positive when things get busy WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing, target-driven sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and upselling products or services • Strong communication skills and confidence selling in person and over the phone • High attention to detail and strong computer skills, with confidence using multiple, complex systems • International travel experience • Matric • Availability to work full-time hours, including weekends and public holidays WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission • Clear performance metrics and transparent earning potential • Career progression opportunities across Flight Centre’s global brands • Industry travel discounts and opportunities to experience the products you sell • A performance-driven team environment that celebrates results and development WORK PERKS! – WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU FCTG is renowned internationally for having amazing perks and an even better culture.
