The British Geological Survey (BGS) is an applied geoscience research centre that belongs to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and is affiliated to the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated outward facing individual to be our Travel Coordinator and Business Development Support. You will be responsible for the management of our permission to travel system, ensuring appropriate plans are in place for all BGS travellers. You will work with the Business Development (BD) team and BGS scientists advising on travel policy and supporting the BD team who lead on income generating activities for BGS. The post requires someone capable of being highly responsive.
The ideal candidate should be a highly self-motivated and self-starting individual who seeks to take advantage of the opportunity to develop their business and organisational skills.
