Description
Description We are seeking a very detailed and service-oriented Travel Coordinator to join our team. This position will coordinate and implement every aspect of travel arrangement for employees and executives from all departments. The Travel Coordinator will also provide guidance on best travel practices and be the point liaison between the company and third-party travel agencies. Responsibilities: Conduct the appropriate research for each travel related request (hotel, car rental, flight, ground transportation, conference room) in accordance with company policy and guidelines. Compile and send Outlook calendar itinerary to each traveler upon completion of each arrangement. Complete extensions and cancellations on travel-related requests Serve as a point of contact for all travel-related issues by assisting employees and third-party travel agencies. Research and resolve all incorrect charges and bookings related to travel. Track employee travel status and send reports to management on a weekly basis. Complete all travel coding to the company ERP system for month end closing. Maintain and preserve detailed documentation to support all travel requests. Track rebates and reward points on a travel card. Assist to update the corporate travel policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to company fleet of vehicles including registrations, tag and title, and vehicle tracking. Support the administrative team as needed. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills. Outstanding problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. 1-2 years travel industry knowledge or experience preferred. Fleet vehicle management preferred. Hybrid position, reports to the office periodically.
