SAIC is seeking a Travel Coordinator for a future program. Work will be performed on site in Bremerton, WA. The Travel Coordinator will support the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Program. This is a unique opportunity for those passionate about advancing the U.S. Navy’s critical maintenance and operational capabilities. At the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, you will excel in a dynamic environment, supporting national security needs and contributing to advancements in digital networking technologies, disaster recovery operations, encryption, and comprehensive IT infrastructure (ITIL). Additionally, you'll play a key role in refining engineering solutions, enhancing cloud-based infrastructure services, and developing new tools and processes to further the US Navy's operational effectiveness. This position is contingent upon award, anticipated announcement in Fall 2025. Job Responsibilities: Manage and organize all travel arrangements for an organization, ensuring smooth and efficient travel experiences. Book flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, adhering to company travel policies and budgets. Prepare detailed itineraries, confirm reservations, and handle travel-related documentation and visas. Monitor travel schedules, address any issues or changes, and provide timely updates to travelers. Maintain records of travel expenses and process reimbursements in accordance with organizational procedures. Collaborate with travel service providers to secure the best rates and services, while providing exceptional support and assistance to travelers before, during, and after their trips. Utilize tools and systems such as TAR, RIP, and CTP templates to implement travel and purchasing processes. Ensure compliance with Government approval requirements and maintain summaries of long-distance travel, including detailed trip reports. Job Requirements: High school diploma and 3-4 years of professional experience. Proficient in implementing travel and purchasing processes, ensuring compliance with multi-tenant stakeholder environments. Experienced in utilizing TAR, RIP, and CTP templates to manage travel requests, securing Government approval for all travel and purchases. Skilled in maintaining detailed summaries of long-distance travel, including comprehensive trip reports that meet Government requirements. Capable of managing travel arrangements with minimal service disruption, adhering to strict timelines for transition plans. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively under the direction of senior personnel. Detail-oriented with the ability to process reimbursements and maintain accurate travel records in accordance with organizational procedures.
