Our client is a global business Travel Management Company (TMC), with an incredible reputation for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for their clients.
A full-time position has become available for a highly competent and experienced Event Travel Coordinator to work within their Event Travel division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing travel arrangements for events, ensuring smooth and efficient travel experiences for clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in the travel industry.
  • Experience of working in a groups team preferred but not essential.
  • GDS experience, with Sabre preferred.
  • Cvent and/or understanding of event registration tools advantageous.
  • Excellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in a high-pressured environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of the air/travel industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent geographical and airline schedule knowledge.
  • The ability to work on multiple events at the same time.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arrange and coordinate travel logistics for events, including flights and some rail.
  • Communicate with travel suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Assist with travel-related enquiries and provide support to travellers.
  • Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely updates and travel itineraries to travellers.
  • Handle any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise.

THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE (UK) AND WORKS TO USA TIME (IDEALLY CENTRAL BUT EAST/WEST COAST CONSIDERED).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
