Travel Coordinator – Parramatta, NSW
The Opportunity
At Toll, we move the businesses that moves the world. Toll manages and delivers a range of services on behalf of the Australian Department of Home Affairs in order to support Refugee and Humanitarian Visa clients with the medical assessment process and subsequent travel to Australia.
We are looking for an experienced Travel Coordinator to join our Home Affairs business unit within our Government & Defence division, based in Parramatta NSW.

As the Travel Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide operational and travel support to our employees and refugee clients.
  • Have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage 3rd party travel expenses and reimbursables incurred as part of our services.
  • Be responsible for all of our staffs global travel requirements.
  • Provide travel advice in accordance with Toll travel policy via our preferred online booking tool or offline with our dedicated travel agent.
  • Provide Administrative Support to the Assisted Passage Leadership Team and be an important interface between the business unit and the Government & Defence Finance Teams

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Understanding the global complexities of booking travel and supporting staff who travel frequently including travel to high risk and or remote locations
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on high-volume repetitive tasks.
  • Understanding travel policy and procedures.
  • Effective Communication- Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
  • Experience in travel booking systems.
