We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused surgical techs with experience in hospital operating rooms. If you're ready to assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country, this is your opportunity! Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiovascular surgical tech experience Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required CST or CVOR-specific certification preferred Current, valid, and active driver’s license required. Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Expertise in assisting with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures Strong grasp of cardiovascular instrumentation and sterile technique Able to anticipate needs of surgeons in complex, time-sensitive cases Cool under pressure and excellent in high-acuity environments Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a surgical tech in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening.
