Job Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Desk Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business travel , ensuring seamless travel arrangements for our employees and clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and develop your skills in travel coordination and administration Your Work Profile: (Contract to Hire) Book and manage travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation, for employees and clients Coordinate with travel agencies, airlines, and hotels to ensure smooth travel experiences Prepare and distribute travel itineraries, visas, and other travel-related documents Manage travel budgets and ensure cost-effective travel arrangements Maintain and adherence to the travel policies and procedures of Aptiv. Provide administrative support to the travel team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel arrangements and expenses Troubleshoot travel-related issues and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner Handling the Forex transaction with the respective agencies. Travel Insurance and iSoS support. Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration towards their travel & visa documentation needs. Preparing the Daily/Weekly and Monthly reports as & when needed. Effectively manage the travel request to ensure an on time deliverable system. Resolve any transportation related issues in a timely manner Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. 5- 10 years of experience in Travel Management including the knowledge in international ticketing, Visa process and Hotel Reservations. -Experience with travel management software and online booking tools Knowledge of travel industry regulations and standards Certification in travel and tourism, such as IATA is added advantage. Familiarity with corporate travel policies and procedures Proven experience in managing travel arrangements and handling expense reports. Strong knowledge of office management systems and operational procedures. High commercial acumen and awareness of market trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why join us?
