Job Description This role is based in our Bugis Junction Tower office. We are seeking a dynamic Event Travel & Housing Executive to join our Asia team, based in Singapore. This dual-responsibility role combines corporate travel management across the Asia region with event housing coordination for our portfolio of trade shows and exhibitions. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring seamless travel experiences for our colleagues while developing strategic partnerships with hotels and suppliers to enhance our event offerings and generate commercial value. Key Responsibilities Corporate Travel Management (50%) Coordinate and manage corporate travel arrangements for Informa colleagues across the Asia region Negotiate corporate rates and agreements with airlines, hotels, and ground transportation providers Ensure compliance with company travel policies and budget guidelines Provide travel support and assistance to colleagues, including visa requirements and travel documentation Monitor travel expenses and provide regular reporting on travel spend and savings Maintain relationships with preferred travel suppliers and agencies Event Housing & Commercial Partnerships (50%) Negotiate commercial agreements with hotels and accommodation providers for Informa's trade shows and events Develop and implement housing strategies that integrate seamlessly with event operations Create and manage commercial models to secure hotel commissions and revenue opportunities Coordinate room blocks, rates, and booking processes for event attendees Liaise with event teams to understand housing requirements and delegate expectations Monitor housing performance metrics and provide post-event analysis and recommendations Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners and accommodation suppliers across Asia Qualifications Essential Requirements Qualification or relevant experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field 2 years of experience in corporate travel management, event coordination, or hospitality industry Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable commercial terms Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Proficiency in travel booking systems and event management platforms Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Fluency in English; additional Asian languages advantageous Desirable Qualifications Experience in the events or exhibitions industry Knowledge of hotel revenue management and commission structures Familiarity with corporate travel policies and expense management systems Understanding of visa and immigration requirements across Asia Professional certification in travel or hospitality management Additional Information We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face.
