Description Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Travel / Contract Shift: Weekend | 3?×?12s | 7:00?PM – 7:30?AM (36?hours/week) Compensation: Regular Hourly Rate: $26.25 Overtime Hourly Rate: $39.38 Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,477.00 Weekly Taxable Pay: $945.00 Total Weekly Compensation: $2,422.00 About the Role We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool in Columbus, OH. This position is designed for weekend night shifts, and the nurse will float across various ICU units within a large academic medical center setting, adapting to diverse critical care populations and unit needs. Responsibilities Provide critical care nursing in multiple ICU settings according to float pool assignments. Perform complex assessments, implement and monitor care plans for critically ill patients. Administer high-acuity treatments, medications, and advanced therapies. Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., EPIC) for documentation and coordination. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff. Maintain compliance with hospital quality, safety, and critical care standards. Minimum of 2 years (or more) of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience (preferred). Prior experience working in multiple ICU types or float pools is a plus. Certifications required: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and other relevant critical care certifications. Strong clinical judgment, ability to adapt quickly across units, excellent communication, and team-oriented mindset. Comfortable working weekend night shifts (3?×?12) and flexible to float across multiple ICU units.
