Location: Nelson, BC
Schedule: 4 on, 2 off (0700-1500/ 1500-2300)
Compensation: $45.00 per hour + additional $150 per week
Travel: Fuel costs fully reimbursed by Staff On Call
Accommodation: Shared accommodation with another travel nurse; You will have a private bedroom and bathroom
Start Date: By August 1st

End Date: A 3 month minimum commitment is required

Position Overview: We are seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different locations while providing exceptional care to patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)
• Current CPR / First Aide Certification.
• Two (2) years previous experience in long-term care or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Work Location: Remot

• Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
