Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated MS/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Akron, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team in a fast-paced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience required
• Licensure/Certification:
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)
• Skills:
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Leadership skills to effectively manage a team of nurses and support staff
• Ability to prioritize patient care and delegate tasks effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience in handling a diverse patient population with various acute and chronic conditionsRESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and coordinate nursing care in the MS/Tele unit, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions
• Serve as a resource for the nursing team, providing guidance and support as needed
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure continuity of care
• Manage patient assignments and staffing to maintain unit efficiency
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control practices, and hospital policies
