Overview Radiology Tech – CT travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,573–$2,729 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Work setting is a hospital environment supporting acute care, trauma, stroke, and burn services. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,573–$2,729 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Wed–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. - Start date: 07/06/2026 - Setting: hospital-based travel assignment in Atlanta, GA Responsibilities - Perform CT imaging procedures across multiple units, including ED, inpatient, and neuro floors, in support of high-acuity trauma, stroke, and burn cases. - Operate CT scanners (including older GE platforms and Revolution platform units) to deliver diagnostic-quality images while maintaining patient safety and radiation protection standards. - Prepare and position patients, administer contrast as required, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure protocol compliance. - Utilize EPIC or equivalent EMR/RIS systems for orders, documentation, and result communication; maintain accurate patient imaging records. - Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to optimize workflow in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma environment. - Troubleshoot equipment as needed, perform basic QA checks, and follow departmental procedures for equipment maintenance and infection control. Requirements - CT technologist with ARRT CT certification preferred. - Prior CT imaging experience preferred. - Proficiency with GE CT scanners (including older platforms and Revolution platform) and EPIC RIS/PACS or similar EMR software. - Ability to work in a high-acuity ED/inpatient setting and adapt to rotating trauma, stroke, and burn workflows. - Availability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with a 3-day-per-week shift (Wed–Fri).
