Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,394–$2,519 per week - Guaranteed hours: 0.0 - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10s (days) - Start date: 07/20/2026 - Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital - Extension opportunities: yes - Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter and support: yes Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients within the Endoscopy/acute care setting, applying nursing knowledge and the established care plan; monitor vitals, pain, and response to therapies. - Collaborate with physicians, perioperative teams, and interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and adjust individualized care plans, establish goals, and coordinate patient progression through preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative steps. - Administer medications, manage IV therapy, monitor for adverse effects, and perform Endoscopy-specific nursing interventions compliant with orders, including equipment readiness, sterile technique, and procedure support. - Provide pre-procedure education and postoperative discharge instructions; reinforce infection prevention practices; document education provided and patient understanding; engage family as appropriate. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record; participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction. - Participate in required call rotation with a 1-hour response time; be prepared for weekend coverage as scheduled and coordinate with the team to ensure continuous patient care.
