Overview Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (GI/endoscopy) in Potsdam, NY. Start date: 06/22/2026 for a travel assignment in weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,271–$2,390 per week. This position features a Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. shift in an inpatient and outpatient endoscopy center setting. Role is travel - temporary assignment with block scheduling and optional floating to related areas. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,271–$2,390 per week - Duration: travel assignment of several weeks - Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 - Start date: 06/22/2026 - Setting: inpatient and outpatient endoscopy center - On-call: some weekend call; one night of call every 7–12 days - Floating: yes (staff will float) Responsibilities - Provide RN coverage for GI/endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, EBUS, EUS, flexible sigmoidoscopy; perform biopsies, polyp removal, foreign body removal, and dilations as indicated - Assist with procedure setup, time-out/Universal Protocol compliance, and bedside/portable case support; ensure patient safety and comfort - Post-procedure recovery oversight, monitor vitals, and assess patient for complications across adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Specimen handling and processing: cytology, pathology, frozen sections, and endoscopy specimens (bronchoscopy/colonoscopy as appropriate) - Infection control and instrument processing: high-level disinfection, instrument washer/sterilizer, room turnover and restock - Equipment familiarity: colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, EGD scopes, EUS/EBUS scopes, electrosurgical units (including ERBE), C-arm/fluoroscopy, balloon dilators, snares, forceps - Charting in EPIC and coordination with the care team to document procedures and outcomes accurately Requirements - Active New York RN license in hand at submission - BLS certification required - Minimum 1 year RN experience, with GI/endoscopy experience preferred - EPIC charting experience required - Travel experience: accepted; first-time travelers considered; ability to float to cover unit needs - On-call requirements: some weekend call; one night of call every 7–12 days - RTO: maximum 7 days; confirm requirements with account manager prior to submittal - Distance restrictions: Locals not accepted; must be >50 miles; candidates within 75 miles not accepted; please confirm with the hiring manager prior to submittal - Return staff policy: 1 year Benefits and Support - 24/7 recruiter and travel support - Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement - Nationwide assignments - Referral bonus up to $1,000 - Fast credentialing processes Find more opportunities Interested in other roles with Healthforce Healthcare LLC?
