Description Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse – ER Holding for a 13-week contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports an Emergency Department Observation / ER Holding unit within a large academic medical center. The ideal candidate will have prior ER experience with strong telemetry and stepdown exposure. Assignment Details: • 13-week contract • Night shift | 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) • Emergency Department Observation / ER Holding • Patient ratio: 1:4 • Epic EMR • Weekend requirements per unit needs Travel and Local candidates are accepted Compensation Package: W-2 Hourly: $16.50 Housing Stipend: $131/week Meals Stipend: $80/week Weekly Stipend Total: $1,477 Total Weekly Gross: $2,071 Requirements • Active RN license (Ohio or compact, in hand at submission) • Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience • ER Observation / Holding, MS/Tele, Tele, or PCU experience required • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS required • Telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience • Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drips, including titration • IV insulin and heparin protocol experience • Epic EMR experience preferred • Ability to float within scope as needed Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
