Overview Registered Nurse - ER (Emergency Department) needed for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 06/22/2026 for a multi-week engagement in a hospital setting. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week with 12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $2,260 to $2,412 per week. This travel assignment requires ED experience and an active New York RN license; responsibilities may include floating to related areas as needed. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,260 - $2,412 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: travel assignment for multiple weeks - Shift: 12-hour shifts - Start date: 06/22/2026 - Setting: hospital ED Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and intervention. - Administer medications and IV therapies, initiate resuscitation and life-saving interventions as ordered. - Monitor for changes in patient condition, recognize decompensation, and respond to emergencies in a timely, composed manner. - Document care in the designated EMR (EPIC) and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate patient care and disposition. - Participate in patient throughput, discharge planning, and referrals as appropriate; comply with infection control and safety protocols. - Float to supported ED areas as needed and maintain professional standards for patient and family communication.
