Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER), travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 06/22/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,277–$2,386 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour shifts in a hospital ED setting. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,277–$2,386 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Contract length: 13 weeks - Shift: 12-hour shifts - Start date: 06/22/2026 - Travel ED assignment in a hospital setting Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, rapid assessment, ongoing monitoring, and discharge planning - Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; manage common ED interventions and essential therapies - Monitor patient status and respond to deteriorations; manage sepsis, trauma, stroke, MI, respiratory emergencies, and other ED presentations - Document care in the Epic electronic medical record; ensure accurate charting and timely handoffs to next care team - Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary staff; participate in float coverage across ED zones as needed - Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards across age groups, including pediatric and adult patients Requirements - Current New York RN license with active Nursys verification - 2+ years of ED nursing experience; some pediatric exposure preferred; travel experience required and documented - Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC required; NIHSS certification preferred - EPIC EMR experience - Ability to meet travel requirements (within 75 miles eligible for local rate) and/or be located locally to the assignment - RTO (time off) must be requested at the time of submission Benefits and Support - Competitive weekly pay - 36 guaranteed hours per week - 24/7 recruiter and travel support - Extension opportunities beyond the initial assignment - Dedicated support throughout the assignment Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore additional travel openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
