Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) for a hospital travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date is 06/08/2026 for a 6-week assignment with a 4x10 rotating shift (day/evening). Weekly pay ranges from $2,903 to $3,009, with 0 guaranteed hours. This travel role requires strong OR experience, including circulating and scrub duties, in a high-volume setting. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,903–$3,009 per week - Contract duration: 6 weeks - Shift: 4x10 rotating (Day/Evening) - Start date: 06/08/2026 - Location: Burlington, VT, United States - No block scheduling required Responsibilities - Circulate and scrub for general OR cases, maintaining sterile technique and instrument counts. - Prepare and position patients, equipment, and supplies for diverse surgical procedures; assist anesthesia as needed. - Support OR teams across varied specialties, including ortho, uro, oncology, gen surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, CVT, and trauma; familiarity with Da Vinci robotics is a plus. - Manage intraoperative instrumentation, assist with case setup, anticipate needs, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure. - Document intraoperative events in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and assist with post-anesthesia handoff and room turnover. Requirements - Active RN license on file at submission; current license in good standing for the appropriate state (Vermont preferred for placement) and ability to work in this OR setting. - Minimum 2 years of OR/unit experience, with large trauma Level I experience strongly preferred. - EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable). - Ability to perform both circulating and scrub roles; must provide evidence of competency for both skills. - BLS certification required. - Prior travel experience is preferred. - Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends; reliable transportation is required (public transportation is not available in the area); starts within the next week is expected.
