Weekly pay ranges from $2,289 to $2,438 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 4x10-hour rotations from 0800 to 1830, on a two-week rotating schedule with no required call or floating. The Ambulatory Surgery department provides pre-, intra- and post-operative care for pediatric through elderly patients, supporting patients who go home the same day or are admitted as needed. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,289–$2,438 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10-hour rotating shifts (0800–1830) - Start date: 07/27/2026 - Setting: hospital-based Ambulatory Surgery/PACU - No required call or floating Responsibilities - Monitor PACU patients recovering from anesthesia, including airway assessment, breathing, circulation, and vital signs. - Assess and manage pain and sedation levels; administer medications per orders and monitor for adverse effects. - Maintain airway support and intervene for potential complications, escalating to anesthesia as needed. - Document patient status, interventions, and progress in the medical record; ensure accurate handoff communications. - Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to determine disposition and prepare patients for discharge home or admission as appropriate. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized PACU environment, including equipment readiness and adherence to infection control practices.
