Overview Registered Nurse - Rehab (Travel) Herrin, Illinois, United States Start Date: 07/06/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Weekly Pay: $1,957 - $2,141 per week | Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am) This travel assignment places you in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with a high neuro population. The role is in a hospital-type environment focused on rehabilitative care, excluding heparin drips. Weekend coverage includes every third weekend with Friday and Saturday night shifts; Sundays can be accommodated with some flexibility. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights - Weekly pay range: $1,957 – $2,141 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12 nights - Start date: 07/06/2026 - Work setting: Inpatient rehabilitation unit with neuro‑focused patient population Responsibilities - Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs; participate in planning and delivering a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. - Implement and evaluate nursing care plans, adjusting as patient conditions evolve; provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons. - Demonstrate nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition; respond promptly to evolving needs. - Maintain complete and accurate medical records and ensure documentation supports core measure requirements. - Contribute to a healthy workplace through professional communication, conflict management, and ongoing participation in continuing education. - Collaborate with team members to optimize patient safety, comfort, and rehabilitation outcomes.
