How you make a difference:
The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs.

We’re looking for compassionate and skilled nurses to provide care in this important setting. Apply now to be part of this rewarding team! * Location: Must live in the Denver, CO area, with travel required to detention centers at Arapahoe, Douglas, Weld, and occasionally Elbert County. * Experience: Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in corrections or emergency medicine. * Shifts: 4+ shifts per month requirement which includes one weekend, and one major and one minor holiday throughout the year. Must be available for both day and night shifts. * Scheduling: Schedules will be planned one month in advance but may require flexibility for last-minute assignments based on immediate needs. * Benefits: Mileage or gas reimbursement provided for travel between sites. *Positive Attitude is a must! * Deadline to apply to this position is September 30th, 2025.
