Maketourism is looking for a Travel Specialist Intern to join the Operations Department. The intern will primarily assist with service bookings, supplier research, and administrative tasks, including the management of passive invoicing. This position is ideal for a motivated individual eager to gain hands-on experience in the tourism and event organization industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in the tourism and event organization industry.
  • English proficiency is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Process-driven, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes and challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with service bookings for individual travelers (FIT) and group bookings.
  • Conduct research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers and venues.
  • Support the management of passive invoicing (invoices from suppliers).
  • Update and maintain the database of suppliers and venue contacts.
  • Collaborate with the team to confirm requested services for clients.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations Department.
