Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Surgical Assistant for a 13 week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee is a dynamic city known for its scenic lakefront, world-class museums, and vibrant cultural festivals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical assisting experience across multiple specialties.
• Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system.
• Experience with Alaris and Pyxis systems is a plus.
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or equivalent credential required.
• BLS certification required.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in maintaining sterile fields and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the OR team.
