Dental Associates of Connecticut is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams across multiple established locations. This is a structured, predictable travel position — you’ll always know your schedule in advance. What Makes This Role Unique Set weekly schedule — you’ll know your location in advance One location per day (no bouncing between offices mid-day) Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break Competitive $30–$32/hour 401(k) with match, health insurance, PTO & more Supportive, organized, team-centered environment Current Weekly Schedule (subject to change) Monday – Avon Tuesday – Prospect (every other week) / West Hartford once monthly (Starting April: every other week in New Britain) Wednesday – Prospect Thursday – Shelton Friday – Branford / New Britain (starting April) You must be comfortable traveling between Avon, Branford, Prospect, Shelton, New Britain, and West Hartford. What You’ll Do Greet and seat patients Act as a liaison between the patient and doctor Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs Set up trays according to daily charts Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry Take x-rays as needed Enter treatment plans Take alginates, pour and trim models Clean and disinfect operatories after each patient Package and sterilize instruments Keep operatories fully stocked Requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Dental assisting experience X-Ray & ICE Certification Superior customer service skills Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset Willingness to learn and grow Reliable transportation and ability to commute to assigned locations Dentrix Ascend experience (a plus) A desire to be part of a family-oriented team focused on delivering the best patient experience possible If you enjoy variety, independence, and being part of a collaborative, growing organization — this role offers stability without monotony.
