Requisition Number: 103893 Job Title: Traveling Senior Network Engineer – Cisco SDA & ISE Location: Remote/Travel Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Depending on experience, the range is $135,000 to $145,000 a year plus full benefit Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) for both wired and wireless environments, as well as Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy Cisco SDA architectures for wired and wireless networks Configure and manage Cisco ISE for network access control, policy enforcement, and device profiling Integrate SDA with ISE to support dynamic segmentation and secure access Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Tier 3 support Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align network solutions with business needs Maintain documentation for network designs, configurations, and operational procedures including post deployment deliverables Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure Must be able to travel to client locations (up to 75%) Must be flexible and willing to work some weekends Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering Hands-on experience and expertise with Cisco SDA (wired and wireless) Strong expertise in Cisco ISE configuration, implementation and administration Proficiency with Cisco DNA Center, Catalyst switches, and wireless controllers Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.) CCNP Enterprise is required CCIE is highly desirable Must have strong communication skills Mist be able to work autonomously as well as in a team setting Preferred Skills Advanced Cisco DNA Center proficiency – assurance, AI/ML analytics, intent-based policies, and template automation ISE advanced capabilities – pxGrid, profiling, BYOD onboarding, guest access portals, TACACS+, TrustSec/SGTs Dynamic Segmentation expertise – SDA + ISE policy-based access control across wired and wireless Multi-site SDA deployments – fabric domains, border nodes, transit control, and inter-site connectivity Wireless SDA integration – fabric-enabled wireless, WLC policy integration, and fast roaming with ISE ISE HA and scalability – distributed deployments, redundancy, and large enterprise scaling Migration experience – brownfield to SDA, or ACS/legacy NAC migrations into ISE Zero Trust with SDA/ISE – implementing identity-based segmentation and micro/macro-segmentation Security integrations – Firewalls, SecureX, and third-party ecosystem integrations with pxGrid Experience with ACI The position described above provides a summary of some the job duties required and what it would be like to work at Insight.
