Our client, one of Texas’s largest General Contractors are currently in search of a Travelling Superintendent due to a healthy project pipeline.

SKILLS/BACKGROUND:

  • Experience in K-12, Higher Education and or Commercial & Municipality projects preferred. #IND2
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges and discrepancies, making informed decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage project documentation, deadlines, tasks, and priorities effectively.
  • Able to make informed decisions quickly, considering project goals, budget, and timeline.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $110,630.59 - $150,146.51 per year

Responsibilities
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Communication with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to coordinate orders and deliveries.
  • Actively lead or participate in any Owner/Architect/Construction Management Agent (OAC), coordination, trade contractor meeting, scheduling, and any other meetings.
  • Supervise all on-site activities, including mobilization, plan for site access, staging areas, security, construction, closeout, contractor work, and material deliveries, to adhere to the project plans and specifications.
  • Maintain an organized and clean construction site, optimizing workflow and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain and update project schedules, 3-week look ahead, and establish high priorities and milestones.
  • Coordinate contractor activities, monitor their performance, and ensure they meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Mastery of quality assurance efforts by conducting inspections, verifying work meets specifications, and addressing deficiencies.
  • Review, expedite, and monitor project documents (reports, schedules, invoices, ASIs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes/agendas, daily reports, change orders, punch lists, inspections, closeout, project-related correspondence, and stakeholder presentations.
