Travelling Entertainment Supervisor - Costa Riding Team
Your Responsibilities:
Inspecting and Planning: Inspect ship status, prepare activity plans, and arrange work during operations and dry-dock.
Project Development and Management: Aid in developing programs and project scopes, manage projects through all stages.
Process Improvement: Observe, develop, and document workflows to identify and improve process issues.
Collaboration: Work with the shoreside Fleet Refurbishment Team, Ship Council, and onboard Entertainment Technical Manager.
Strategic Workflow Development: Develop and maintain strategic workflow processes and role delineations with the Team Leader.
Scheduling: Provide input into the master schedule and ensure timely project completion.
Requisition Management: Manage requisitions for spare items, consumables and materials for maintenance and refurbishment.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure planned maintenance work is carried out properly in the Hotel/Entertainment areas.
Budget Control: Control the Entertainment budget in cooperation with the ashore Fleet Team and ETM.
Equipment Check: Check the status and inventory of entertainment equipment onboard.
Support and Training: Provide continuous support and training for Infoship & Amos software and related processes.
Your Profile:
Education: Bachelor, Master or degreed Engineer of technical/electrical engineering or equivalent
Licenses and certificates: All the relevant STCW certificates for onboard personnel
Experience: Minimum of 5 years professional or senior professional experience in the area of marine electrical/electronic engineering, preferably within the cruise industry. Experience and knowledge in entertainment systems and technology, broadcast system, lighting system, automation and control systems.
Skills: Excellent understanding of the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the entertainment equipment, interface and network systems, low voltage distribution systems. Experience in electronic and electrical work is preferable.
Qualities: Team player, high degree of service and result orientation, as well as readiness to travel.
Ability to demonstrate and apply skills under pressure. Openness and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and able to provide comprehensible and comprehensive instructions and training.
Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for effectively interacting with colleagues onboard and in the office. Italian would be an advantage
