The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a Travelling Public Health Nurse (PHN) - (0.6 FTE Part-time Contract: Oct 13, 2026 - Nov 2, 2026 ). This position offers a meaningful opportunity to serve diverse communities while enjoying flexibility and comprehensive travel support.
Reporting to the Manager, Oral Health and District Offices, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for delivering public health programs and services on health promotion, protection and maintenance, disease and injury prevention and community participation and development. Public Health Nursing practice is based on the model of primary health prevention and is population focused.
