The Arlington County Treasurer’s Office [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/Treasurers-Office] is seeking an IT Support Specialist to report to the Deputy Treasurer for Technology as part of the Technology Unit. As an elected official, the Arlington County Treasurer is accountable to the citizens of Arlington County. The Technology Unit of the Treasurer’s Office is a small team tasked with supporting the office in pursuit of future efficiencies, cost savings, and innovations. The team is responsible for providing analysis and reporting, beyond what vendor-supplied systems can deliver; business unit support in testing and requirements gathering, and end-user support for software and hardware matters. The Technology Unit is also the primary interface between the Treasurer's Office and the County’s IT department.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user support for software and hardware while assisting with analysis, reporting, and requirements gathering. Serve as the primary technical interface between the Treasurer's Office and the County's IT department.
