Description

This position will be based in Shanghai and reporting to the Treasury Manager, Asia Pacific Region (“APAC”) , based in Hong Kong. This position will assist the Treasury Manager in all aspects of Treasury and Risk Management activities for the APAC region. The Treasury Analyst will work closely with other departments including Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Tax, IT, Legal, and external parties such as third-party banks, insurance providers, and financial product vendors. Primary responsibilities include monitoring APAC liquidity, investments, and risk. Responsible for APAC cash management, preparation of cash flow forecasts, coordination and settlement of foreign exchange transactions, merchant services, and navigating insurance matters while maintaining SOX compliance. Assist with preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and audit related schedules. Assist with managing the borrowing process for APAC, revolving credit facilities in China, and other countries as necessary. Assists with the annual insurance renewal process, including analysing exposure data, for stock throughput, property, and casualty. Supports new store openings including opening bank accounts and arranging merchant terminals (POS Point of Sale). 50% Treasury / Liquidity / FX Management Monitor & review APAC daily liquidity positions to meet ongoing operational needs Prepare fund transfers for funding arrangements, intercompany & FX settlements Prepare weekly & monthly cash balance reports for the leadership team Assist with preparation of direct and indirect cash flow forecasts (APAC) Work with external and internal counterparts in execution of foreign exchange transactions Ensure compliance with Foreign Exchange Risk Management Policy and Global Investment Policy Assist with monitoring and maintaining China revolving credit facility Maintaining banking infrastructure such as opening/closing accounts, updating bank signatories, resolving KYC requests and other banking matters Perform ad hoc analysis as required 20% Treasury Projects Participate in various treasury projects such as cash pooling and payment streamlining Assist with implementing Reval TMS platform with US Treasury Team 15% Merchant Acquiring (POS - Point of Sale) Support opening of new stores, including opening bank accounts and arranging credit card merchant terminals Support E-Commerce team in setting up payment gateways for digital business channels such as WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay, Weixin, Douyin, JD.com, Tmall, etc... 15% Insurance (APAC) Assists with the annual insurance renewal process, including analyzing exposure data, for stock throughput, property, and casualty insurance policies, Ensures new locations/entities are added to the insurance program on a timely basis Assists with insurance claims handling Responsible for processing payments for local APAC policies More than Just a Footwear Company From our corporate offices to our global retail stores, there’s a curious, independent spirit that’s distinctively Deckers Brands.
