JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join the Treasury Department of a global company, focusing on North America. The Treasury team supports critical functions such as the daily settlement of transactions globally, corporate cash management, foreign exchange exposure, capital and debt strategy, liquidity management, and insurance programs worldwide.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Operations role, preferably in the Banking or Payments industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant work experience or an Advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in banking or payment services, corporate treasury, or banking wire room operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct business in English.
  • Experience with key control environment requirements and various audits (internal, external, SOX, SSAE16).
  • Project management experience.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of SWIFT and in-country payment systems with exposure to foreign exchange products and services is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of various banking formats (EDI/ISO20022/SWIFT MT Fin/FedWire) is a plus.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage complex daily regional settlement client onboarding activities for International and Domestic settlement services in the NA region.
  • Provide settlement onboarding support to the LAC Treasury Manager as needed.
  • Review, validate, and process new and modified funds transfer arrangements, ensuring accuracy and timely implementation.
  • Liaise with external parties to execute funds transfers safely.
  • Obtain necessary information from clients in collaboration with Client Services.
  • Coordinate timely settlements go-live for modifications and new client setups with relevant teams.
  • Provide consulting services related to daily client onboarding activities to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Global Treasury Settlement Reconciliations team to resolve settlement issues.
  • Prepare and maintain tracking logs of issues and daily related work.
  • Investigate and report findings on Treasury incidents related to onboarding.
  • Assist with Treasury Settlement metrics and initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Participate in strategic change management projects and evaluate operational processes for improvements.
  • Document processes, policies, operating procedures, and other necessary documentation.
  • Review and analyze data related to mandates and Treasury Settlement processes.
