Description

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MIS coursework a plus).
  • 1–3 years of diversified experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer-based accounting and payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
    This position is considered exempt and not eligible for overtime.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,500.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Deputy Director of Consolidated Billing to support the transition to a web-based billing portal.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate distribution of monthly invoices.
  • Manage receipt of payments and administration of the lockbox system.
  • Monitor and report on accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process daily deposits for the Archdiocese and affiliated entities.
  • Execute online banking functions.
  • Assist in liquidity forecasting.
  • Prepare accounts payable vouchers for all Treasury-initiated transactions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for receipts, disbursements, and financial transaction recording.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Reporting & Budgeting to ensure proper recording of transactions.
  • Support transition to a new treasury banking provider, including account setup and data integration with the ERP system to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide backup coverage for other Treasury Operations team members as needed.
  • Assist the Head of Treasury with special projects and initiatives.
