Location: 136 CDG, Neuilly-sur-Seine Reports to: Treasury & Corporate Finance Manager - Europe Contract: Full-time and permanent position. Chanel Treasury aims to centralize cash where possible and ensure visibility on 1/free cash flow to be available and mobilized for investments, dividends, 2/ fundings requirements, 3/FX exposure. The role: The Treasury Analyst is in charge of the European Perimeter (Chanel Brand entities & others - Eres, Wineries, Real Estate). The main objectives being to analyze and challenge business performance through cash from operations, Capex, and participate to decisions taken over capital structure items (dividends, financing through intercompany loan & / or equity infusions). Responsibilities: Liquidity Planning: Cash flows, Actual & Forecast: Manage, analyze, challenge and consolidate actual & forecast cash flows of the European perimeter being the referee of direct & indirect cashflow methodology in the reporting tools; Collaborate with various stakeholders & departments including CFO’s, FP&A and Global Treasury to onboard entities, analyze and challenge financial data from P&L to Balance Sheet ensuring robust Cash forecasting. Challenge business performance through cash flow analysis including working capital improvement and Cash KPI’s analysis. Provide pedagogy and training to entities. Treasury Coverage: Act as the key partner for treasury topics to coordinate with cash management, external debt, internal financing and other financial aspects. Streamline processes and structure Corporate Finance information to optimize efficiency Ensure compliance with the Capital Structure Policy: you will participate to request financing (Intercompany loans and/or Equity injection) to support business operations needs of working capital, capital expenditure or acquisitions & evaluating dividends distribution capabilities. Build strong business partnership with internal stakeholders like FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT Finance, Real Estate and M&A. Treasury Transformation Projects: Develop, maintain and enhance Treasury data through B.I. & data visualization. Follow & Support the Long-Term Cash Flow Forecast project through indirect methodology in collaboration with CFOs Innovate with the Advanced Analytics Team to enhance Cash forecasting. Collaborate closely with Cash Management Team on Short-Term Forecasting. You will bring: Qualified finance professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a master degree in Finance (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Treasury) with a desire to analyze financial performance through cash. Collaborative, proactive, and agile mindset with effective team spirit. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an expertise in data visualization and BI tools. Rigorous and organized you build efficient processes in a continuous improvement attitude. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with Senior Management. Ability to work in a complex matrix environment and a multicultural context.
