Job Description: Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Treasury Analyst. This individual is responsible for handling Treasury processes, daily cash forecasting, bank account management and reporting required for asset‑backed financing. They are also responsible for processing, coordinating and reviewing outstanding debtor and creditor positions for various Huntsman locations in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that payments are processed in a timely manner and all Huntsman regulations are followed. This role is responsible for identifying and resolving areas of concern, providing recommendations and supporting potential improvements in overall process operations. They will work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries, including Accounting, Customer Service, Credit, Legal, Purchasing and the Tax/VAT teams to ensure timely and high‑quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Treasury Analyst, you will: Perform daily cash forecasting and monitor the cash position. Manage bank accounts across the EAME and APAC regions, including bank mandate maintenance and the opening and closing of bank accounts Perform global reporting for asset‑backed financing. Liaise with banks and business units on bank guarantees. Liaise with internal and external counterparties regarding Treasury matters. Coordinate and control accounts payable payments. Connect bank accounts with the general ledger. Check and monitor suspense accounts. Produce various reports. Identify, investigate and resolve differences. Ensure that all tasks performed comply with SOX requirements and internal audit guidelines. Provide support and respond to service requests from the business globally in a timely manner. Participate in the implementation of system and procedure changes. Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. Assist other employees in achieving Huntsman’s company goals. Participate in and complete company‑required training programs. Participate in environmental, health, and safety initiatives as established by the company. What skills and experiences are we looking for? Degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent field, with 2 to 4 years of experience. Prior work experience in a shared service or accounting environment, preferably responsible for cash forecasting and/or asset-backed financing reporting Ability to work on tasks and resolve problems that are complex in nature. Ability to exercise considerable judgment and apply professional concepts, company policies, and procedures to solve routine problems. Familiarity with SAP would be a plus. Experience in treasury management systems such as Kyriba would be a plus. Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. Comfortable working with diverse cultures. Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
