Description

Are you looking to grow your career in treasury within a dynamic, global company?
Nilfisk is seeking a motivated Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team and support our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience who is eager to develop their expertise in treasury and financial risk management.
Position Overview:
As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Nilfisk’s treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash management, financial risk mitigation, and process optimization. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global environment, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and develop your skills in treasury management systems and financial analysis.
You will be based at our brand-new Head Office in Nordhavn and will report directly to Steen Dandanell, VP Head of Group Treasury & Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support financial risk management – Manage the Group’s currency and interest risk in accordance with hedging strategies.
  • Cash flow forecasting – Contribute to improving cash flow forecasting processes and system enhancements.
  • Treasury operations – Support daily treasury operations, including liquidity management, payments, and bank relationship management.
  • Process and system improvements – Assist in the development and digitalization of treasury processes, including the treasury management system (TMS).
  • Data analysis – Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to optimize cash management, working capital and capital structure.

What You Bring:
You hold a master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Ideally, you have 1-3 years of experience in treasury, or financial risk management, but experience in FP&A or business controlling could also be relevant. We highly value student assistant experience, as it demonstrates a strong foundation in financial concepts and practical exposure to the field.
A basic understanding of financial risk, including cash management, FX risk, and capital markets, is important. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration across departments. An analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and support decision-making, will be beneficial. Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, or similar tools would be an advantage.
Who you are:
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with numbers, and want to grow your career in treasury, we encourage you to apply and become part of Nilfisk’s innovative journey.
Join us and take the next step in your treasury career!
Interested?
If this could be your next career step, please apply already today via “Apply now” and no later than February 25th, 2025. If you have questions before applying, you are welcome to contact Steen Dandanell sdandanell@nilfisk.com.
What happens with your application?
We will look at your application and contact you for a phone interview. Hereafter, if there is a mutual match, we will invite you to an interview with the hiring manager. The 2nd interview will be with a Talent Acquisition Partner together with Steen Dandanell where the focus is on a feedback session on a personality assessment and aptitude test. The 3rd and final round of interviews will be an interview with CFO, Reinhard Mayer.
