Description

Job Purpose: To ensure effective and compliant management of the company’s global banking infrastructure by overseeing the full lifecycle of bank accounts and related activities. This includes establishing, maintaining, and rationalizing bank accounts; managing and updating bank mandates; ensuring completion and periodic renewal of KYC documentation; and acting as the primary liaison between the organization and its banking signatories. The role is critical in supporting and optimizing banking structures, and ensuring adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards. Responsibilities: Support line manager in various treasury related projects, monitor its progress to ensure project stays on track by maintaining project documentation, communicating the project's progress to team members and other stakeholders, coordinating meetings and overseeing other members of the project team. Collect, analyse and translate data into easy-to-understand information to help with problem solving and decision making to carry out treasury transactions. Provide primary execution and support in carrying out Treasury Operations, including but not limited to daily transaction and settlement processing, confirmation of fixed deposits and forex deals with counterparties. Ensure smooth banking and financial operation by dealing with financial institutions, both in Doha and/or internationally, for smooth day-to-day banking transactions and/or queries. Monitor external market conditions, determine their potential impact to the business and plan accordingly to minimize the risk. Assist and provide support regarding the placement, renewal and termination of QR cash balances in various investment vehicles and prepare analysis and reports as required. Carry out thorough analysis while shortlisting new counter parties based on the Company policy and onboard the same after meeting KYC compliances and documentation to ensure compliance. Monitor credit worthiness of all the approved counter parties on monthly basis and highlight any deterioration to the management. Manage issuance, maintenance, renewal, cancellation, enhancement and reporting of Corporate Credit Assist line manager in the preparation of the annual budget. Supervise cash reconciliations of treasury transactions on daily basis and associated follow-ups with counter parties to ensure timely closure of reconciliation process. Ensure proper and correct accounting of treasury transactions in QR books. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. Now is the time to bring your best ideas and passion to a place where your ambition will know no boundaries, and be part of a truly global community About You: High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification [Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience Expertise in executing and reconciling daily treasury activities such as settlements and fund transfers in addition to supervising reconciliation of treasury transactions and resolving discrepancies efficiently. Good knowledge in using ERP, FIS Quantum system (Qazina) for transaction processing, reporting and analytics Experience in bank mandate and account management.
