Cleveland-Massillon Road Akron, OH 44333 Additional Location: 210 Portage Trail Extension W Suite 101 Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 Hours: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department) Function: Assume responsibility for developing and managing marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to grow your defined market. Responsible to develop new business for the bank, focusing primarily on Treasury Management services and deposit growth. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develops moderately-complex to complex new business opportunities through proactive calls on new and existing customers for deposits, loans, and treasury management services. 2. Expectations of this role include successfully and consistently obtaining production goals in new deposit generation (assessed/assigned annually) and fee generation (assessed/assigned annually). 3. Manages a customer portfolio to help relationship managers with risk assessments and cross-sell into customers within that portfolio. 4. Completes the appropriate risk assessments and enhanced due diligence forms for new customer acquisitions. 5. Engages in community activities and organizations to support networking opportunities and enhance the visibility of S&T Bank in the marketplace. 6. Leads periodic team meetings with all team members, reviewing market results, identifying sales & market opportunities, and supporting product knowledge updates when needed. 7. Works with market team members to develop prospect lists of both existing and prospective customers as leads as well as developing prospects/leads. 8. Supports effective team dynamics in market through, coordination of joint calling efforts, resolution of team conflict, effective communication of action plans and marketing initiatives and coordination of additional marketing and training support when necessary. 9. Makes joint calls with Commercial Loan Officers, Business Bankers, and other calling officers. 10. Provides input in the development of new banking, deposit and treasury management product and service. 11. Serves as the "expert" of treasury management products/sales to promote sales and to serve as a resource to customers to improve their working capital. 12. Participates in seminars to customers, prospects and bank employees on various deposit and treasury management products. 13. Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong ability to work independently, as well as is motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and, in turn, S&T. 14. Assumes additional responsibilities as required. Education: Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent. Additional education, certification, training, or licenses: Certified Treasury Professional preferred. Experience Requires five to ten years general experience with five to ten years specialized treasury management experience required.
