JOB SUMMARY

Builds, deploys, and manages innovative risk solutions for Treasury - Payment Solutions to ensure that products are adhering to the highest quality and mitigating risk for the organization. Assists in identifying, assessing, and monitoring the risks associated with treasury activities. Sets strategies to identify and mitigate transactional risks through policy oversight, procedures, data analysis, and industry governance. Ensures the treasury and payment team is aware of updates to product policies and procedures. This role will provide leadership to members of the TPS Risk team members to oversee specific products and their applications in managing TPS Risk key responsibilities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Eight (8) years of experience in treasury and payment risk management, sales, operations, commercial banking or other similar line of business.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to facilitate information when needed
  • Leadership skills, and the ability to influence individuals
  • Good competency using Microsoft Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills, and the ability to review data with the up-most detail.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation, Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP)

Responsibilities
  • Oversees and maintains risk for new and existing treasury payment products. Identifying key challenges for all Treasury products in order to resolve and/or mitigate risk.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on the risk components of treasury products.
  • Develops, prioritizes, and tracks the roadmap for risk and product initiatives. Works with cross-functional teams to manage roadmap initiatives to completion.
  • Develops strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risks. Reviews and enhances reporting by optimizing data from various internal and external sources. Coordinates with sales, operations, production, support units and other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of risk reporting for all Treasury Management products.
  • Develops and provides training for team, operational partners, and customer support team that pertains to responsibilities of TPS Risk.
  • Serves as team leader for Treasury Risk Specialist to ensure proactive engamgent in assigned roles - responsiblieies.
  • Participates in promotional conferences, tradeshows, expos and other related forums pertaining to risk.
  • Works closely with Operational Risk on RCSA assessments and controls. Compliance Teams for BSA, SOX, and other regulatory processes. Acts as a Risk Champion representing Treasury - Payment Solutions.
  • Coordinates work, acts as a contact during audit or exam processes, and develops strategies for any corrections required.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
