THIS IS THE JOB

• Responsibility for ensuring and coordinating the handling of letters of credit and guarantees, including review and approval. 
• Further development and optimization of existing processes and systems in the area of ​​trade finance, in particular COR-TF, including support for system adjustments and updates.
• Management and communication with internal departments as well as external stakeholders such as banks, landlords and suppliers
• Significant support in negotiations with banks, system providers, etc.
• Planning of the corresponding cost items for guarantees and letters of credit, as well as coordination and further development of the monthly plan/actual comparison.
• Contributing to the continuous optimization of treasury and trade finance processes 

WHAT YOU BRING

• Successfully completed studies in economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance, treasury or banking.
• Several years of professional experience in the treasury or trade finance environment, particularly in the processing of letters of credit, guarantees and payment transactions. 
• Sound knowledge of cooperation with national and international banks
• Analytical and conceptual skills as well as a good understanding of financial relationships.
• Proficient use of common MS Office programs
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Independent and structured work style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
