Description The Manager – Treasury and Cash will be a critical member of the TIG Team including assisting in the creation of a best-in-class cash management function. The selected candidate will be joining a fast paced, acquisitive, private equity backed company. This role is tasked to support the finance leadership in cash forecasting, working capital improvement, bank account rationalization, equipment leasing, and overall treasury management. The incoming Manager – Treasury and Cash will be responsible for assisting the CFO with creating a first-rate cash management operation, as well as supporting acquisition efforts and integration. Responsibilities · Establish credibility for cash management function by leading TIG’s liquidity management. · Produce daily cash and working capital management reports. · Conceive and execute working capital improvement initiatives. · Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasts with near precision results vs. actual. · Monitor credit line in conjunction with debt covenants. · Continually rationalize legacy bank accounts into a cohesive and effective structure of a master concentration account linked to operating accounts. · Manage liquidity in all bank accounts, forecast future liquidity and coordinate intercompany funds transfers. · Develop and maintain treasury policies and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash. · Coordinate with CFO to plan and evaluate treasury’s financial operation. · Assist CFO and senior management in reviewing and analyze re-finance requirements. · Support operations leaders with execution of various equipment financing options. · Analyze bank fees and performance and present recommendations to management. · Perform ad hoc, high profile special projects without interruption of daily responsibilities. · Support diligence and integration efforts associated with the treasury function of acquisition target companies. · Work closely and seamlessly with the CFO and other finance & accounting team members. · Other duties as may be assigned or delegated. Requirements Skills, Knowledge, and Experience · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or at least 8 years corporate treasury · At least 4 years of corporate treasury experience. · Transportation, logistics or related industry experience middle market company experience in a high transaction environment. · Track record of building out processes and functional competencies from scratch. · Experience driving working capital improvements through improved collections and other DSO/DPO initiatives. · Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, able to communicate thoroughly yet concisely. · History of building relationships and credibility with internal and outside teams. · Excellent computer skills, a power user of Microsoft Office Suite required.
