How you'll help us achieve it Wave is now the largest financial institution in Senegal, with over 7 million users. And we’re still in the early days of our product roadmap and potential impact on people’s everyday lives. We’re on the lookout for a Treasury Manager who’s resourceful, proactive, and passionate about driving results. In this role, you’ll design and implement cash flow strategies across Burkina Faso, optimize currency exchange (FX) operations, and anticipate liquidity needs to ensure our money transfer service runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a highly data-driven role, so strong skills with spreadsheets, charts, and cash management tools are essential. In this role, you'll: Propose and implement cash rebalancing solutions across our agent network to optimize liquidity. Build and nurture strong partnerships with our banking institutions. Manage daily banking operations efficiently and accurately. Identify key liquidity challenges and develop innovative strategies to address Wave’s cash flow needs. Oversee FX operations with a deep understanding of Burkina’s forex market. Forecast cash requirements to maintain optimal balances in our bank accounts. Monitor bank balances, fees, and transactional activity closely. Manage Efloat creation, destruction, and buffer levels to ensure seamless operations. Coordinate timely collection and deposit of cash by agents into the appropriate bank accounts. Key Details Location: You'll work from our office in Ouagadougou and may travel to field locations. Requirements: Fluent in English and French. Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations related to cash flow. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a comparable field.
