JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs a variety of operation duties within safekeeping workstreams depending on assignment. Accountable for setting up new customer accounts and performing existing customer changes in a timely manner. Interfaces with both internal and external personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers. Uses various reporting to ensure accuracy of account transactions and information. Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied. Responds to telephone or written inquiries and performs research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers, or internal employees. Effectively and accurately coordinate, manage, and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines while clearly communicating status updates and escalating of unusual items or errors to team members and manager. Accountable for compliance with established department policies and procedure as well as market required operational standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two to three years of operations-related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
