A global leader in online trading is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team in Dubai, UAE, to lead the organization s regulatory compliance framework and ensure full alignment with UAE regulatory obligations, including those set by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the company s compliance framework in accordance with SCA regulations
Track regulatory updates and evaluate their implications on business activities and internal policies
Serve as a key contact for regulatory inquiries and internal compliance-related matters
Support the preparation of regulatory reports, audits, and internal compliance assessments
Review and authorize client onboarding documentation and account-related activities
Contribute to compliance training initiatives and awareness programs across the organization
Investigate suspected compliance breaches and support corrective action plans
Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of compliance records and documentation
Act as the main liaison with the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), handling inspections, inquiries, and regulatory submissions (e.g., SCA CORE)
Develop, review, and update internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with UAE regulations
Manage Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls, including reviewing account opening documentation, conducting KYC due diligence, and submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) via goAML
Perform continuous monitoring of trading activities and company operations (including CFD margin requirements) to ensure regulatory compliance
Provide leadership and full ownership of the AML/Compliance function, including MLRO responsibilities, driving transformation initiatives, implementing regulatory updates, and strengthening governance and effectiveness
