Treasury Partnerships Manager We are looking for a Treasury Partnerships Manager to join the Merchant Finance & Treasury (MF&T) team in Singapore. As MF&T we are the financial backbone of Adyen; optimizing and automating financial processes for scale, mitigating risks, and enabling growth through customer-centricity, operational excellence, innovation and integrity. The Treasury Partnerships sub-team strengthens relationships with our network of key commercial and central banking partners. These financial partnerships help us deliver best-in-class payment experience for our merchants. Currently, we manage our financial institutions’ partnerships out of Amsterdam. However, with this role we intend to expand the Treasury Partnerships’ coverage globally. Moreover, the focus in the role will be on managing our APAC-based financial partnerships and help in defining our strategic direction. What you’ll do Strengthen strategic partnerships with new and existing financial institutions (FI) through active, open exchange of ideas/knowledge, win-win solutions and serve as the primary point of escalation as needed. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on new and existing integrations, ensuring banking providers deliver best-in-class technical expertise and service. Access our current network of Financial Institutions with external market research and internal insights from Financial Operations teams on partner bank performance. Proactively scope potential alternative banking partnerships & conduct RFIs/RFPs. Negotiate pricing agreements, interest rates and strategically right-size our credit facilities and intraday credit lines. Facilitating the discussions between external FI parties and our internal needs, from MF&T perspective and Adyen as whole Who you are 5+ years of experience in managing relationships with financial counterparts in a Treasury, Banking, or Fintech environment. Preferably in building and/or managing multi-entity, multi-currency bank account structures; Experience in evaluating banking partner capabilities through RFIs/ or RFPs– either on the Treasury side or Banking side; Experience in leading and executing the negotiation of major contractual agreements, including complex credit facilities and payment solutions, ensuring favorable terms for the company; Proactively engage with both internal as well as external partners at a high level to identify strategic opportunities, influence product roadmaps, and drive collaborative innovation; Translate complex external developments and market trends into clear, actionable strategies and recommendations for the department and senior leadership; Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with experience independently leading negotiations; You thrive in a dynamic environment and want to work in a rapidly changing industry; Knowledge on financial risks (FX, IRR) is advantageous but not required.
