As a Treasury Student, you will work alongside experienced and talented professionals and take part in interesting work assignments that stimulate learning.   • Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
  • Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
  • Term length: 12 months
  • Term start: May 2026

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare daily cash deposits and supporting documentation
  • Assist in issuance of Canadian Natural’s outgoing payments, including wire payments and bank drafts
  • Assist with preparation of accounting for previous day transactions
  • Assist with preparation and submission of weekly reporting package to Senior Management
  • Responsible for daily updates of Foreign Exchange Rates in our systems
  • Participate in special projects as required
Responsibilities
  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of a degree program in Accounting, Finance or Business, with a preference given to candidates intending to pursue an accounting designation (e.g. CPA) or other finance designation (e.g. CFA).
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and effective time management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with:
