At Fiskars Group we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. Join our team and seize the extraordinary opportunity to influence the everyday!
Treasury Summer Trainee
As a Treasury Summer Trainee you will support our Treasury Team in financial and administrative tasks. You will gain an understanding of the Treasury function by assisting in the day-to-day cash management operations including cash flow estimates, short term funding and middle office tasks. You will participate in monthly intragroup netting process, Treasury related analysis and projects, and assist in Treasury management system maintenance and development.
The work requires attention to detail, desire to work with numbers and processes, and ability to adapt to set schedules and deadlines. Treasury tasks are carried out in close collaboration with team members in and outside Treasury, but at the same time the position requires readiness to work proactively and independently.
In addition to the Treasury team you will liaise with various internal stakeholders within the area of finance and tax, and external stakeholders such as banks. As a person you are flexible and positive with good co-operation skills and can-do attitude. A problem solving, customer focused mindset is an asset. We value the ability to learn new things, but perseverance to perform routine tasks is an important quality.
We expect your current studies to include finance and/or accounting. Good skills in MS Office tools as well as readiness to learn IT applications used in the Treasury are a prerequisite. You should have a working proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and be fluent in Finnish. Previous work experience in accounting or corporate Treasury is an advantage but not required.
The job is based at our HQ in Espoo, Finland. It is a full-time position starting in May or June 2025 until the end of August 2025.
We offer you the opportunity to develop an understanding of the processes around cash management in a global listed company. You will get a glimpse of how financial risks are managed, and of the middle and back office operations related to the Treasury. Join us in our dynamic, enthusiastic and highly professional finance community.
For further information, please contact Monika Janhunen, Treasury Manager, at +358 (50) 381 4131 on Wednesday March 26th between 13:00 and 14:00.
Please send your application by March 31st, 2025. We look forward to receiving your application.
